Night falls,
And the world is consumed in darkness,
But you remain my only reason to smile.
From your eyes that twinkle like stars,
To your smile so bright like the moon,
Your loveliness keeps me captive,
Like a gypsy's melody in the air.
You're the one that I talk about.
You're the one I sing about.
The one I'm proud,
To give every piece of my heart to.
Letting me tell the world,
That I found that girl,
And why I finally sing.
I wasn't looking,
But fate led me to you.
And now I let every fear,
That has harbored my soul,
Out to tell you and the world,
Just how I really f

Blank canvases,
The lucky numbers in the fortune cookies,
The flip of a coin and every draw of a straw.
I believe every butterfly is a young child's wish to the heavens,
Every new love that we go through is a win, lose,
and draw on a never ending battlefield.
I believe there's no such thing as the word "loved",
And every loss in life is merely a readjustment.
I believe in a world of nothing but struggles in our lives,
Working hard, dealing with pain, always trying to get them to notice us.
I believe in poetry and stories being an escape,
While life and struggles being a prison.

The Flame
A flame
A symbol commonly used,
Having different meanings,
To all there who come upon it.
For some, the flame is love.
The burning passion between two.
It's warmth reflecting the love,
But able to go out with the slightest breath.
The flame is also hope.
A guiding light,
To calm us of our worries.
And make anything possible.
The flame can symbolize death.
The end of the candle's wick.
The last ember in the fire.
The one thing to consume the body.
The flame may represent the spirit.
The little thing that makes us, us.
That flares up like wild fire.
And pushes us in life.
But really, the flame is life.

My Heart
By B.C. Luck
There's something precious in my heart,
Something that can not be removed,
Something unique, a work of art.
Something my body has approved.
No, this isn't no average girl,
But an angel with heaven's wings.
Her smile makes my mind and thoughts swirl,
That I swear I'm walking on springs.
She is my most favorite hello,
But she is my hardest goodbye.
Her voice so pure and so mellow,
And just hearing it, makes me sigh.
If the world ends, out of the blue,
I wish for her to be with me,
In my arms, forever and true.
She's the one to set my soul free.
To live in her eyes, is a dream,
To die in her arms, is my w
My Promise
By: B.C. Luck
You never have to be alone.
I'll be your shadow.
Your Guardian Angel,
Going noticed or not.
Let me be your shoulder,
When you can't hold back the tears.
I'll help heal the pain,
And bring a smile to your face.
If you need a hug at night,
I'll be your pillow at your side.
Always there for you.
No matter what the distance.
Let me be your smile on bad days,
And your sunshine on cloudy ones.
I'll be the whisper in the wind,
That passes by your ear.
Let me be the sunrise,
The welcomes you in the morning,
That pushes back the darkness,
And allows the light to take you in.
This is what I promise,

She hurried to finish dinner,
Trying to make it perfect.
Her bruises shading her face.
Scratches mapping the damage.
The clock struck eight,
And her husband stumbled in.
The scent of liquor on his breath.
Wrath visible in his eyes.
He reached for her,
And pulled her close,
Mumbled something,
Then smacked her.
He continues to hit her,
As she tries to calm him down.
His bottle falls from his hand,
And shatters on the ground.
That's when she sees her chance.
She lunges forward at the bottle,
And sinks it into her husbands chest.
His blood spills on the floor.
The red and blue lights are soon flashing.
The Moonlight
By: B.C. Luck
It's a nightmare when I'm awake.
I feel cold and shaky all over,
Like some sick drug addict.
With half a heart beating.
What happen to the other half?
It's with my love in my dreams.
Where I'm truly at peace.
Where everything is right.
And I suffer through the day,
Waiting for s sign of moonlight,
To bring my sweet dream once more,
So I can find her in the silence once more.
I can feel her everywhere in my dreams,
I can hear her gentle footsteps,
As something changes within me,
Making my whole heart slow down.
She's the only one I can see here,
In this place of pure peace and harmony.

Friends Forever
By: B.C. Luck
From the day we're born,
We all have friends.
Some of different ages
And different places
As time goes on and we grow,
Friends begin to disappear.
They move away or just change,
But their impression stay.
Like a blessing from above,
The light our rainy days.
Replacing lights that have dimmed.
Numbing the pains of the past.
Every friend we have is a note,
In the melody we call life.
Every new soul adds on to the song.
Making it sweeter as life goes on.
They're the smile on gloomy days,
And the pleasantness in a dream.
They are our shoulder to cry on,
To help us with everything that happens.
My Angel
By: B.C. Luck
I've lived in darkness all my life,
Surrounded by pain and sorrow.
That all changed one light filled day,
When I met one of heavens angels.
She is as beautiful as a rose,
But with a heart of innocence.
She has a smile of pure gentleness,
That warms my day like the sun.
Her voice is like a violin,
Being played with the utmost care,
That brightens my day with each word.
Calming the storm with my heart.
With every step she takes,
My heart skips a beat,
As I see Heaven's light shines.
Following her like the angel she is.
As she walks through the hall,
I try to follow close,
Looking for her wings,
Hoping
Never Alone
By: B.C. Luck
I see you cry every night,
When you think your alone.
And it pains me to see,
That you don't know I'm there.
I try to wipe your tears,
But my hand just passes through,
Not even grazing a tear.
Did you even fell my try?
I watch you as you sleep,
Listening to you breathe as you dream,
As I sit there, I sometimes wonder,
Do you ever dream of me?
I look up at the window,
And count each star with a wish,
A wish for you to notice me,
A wish for us to be together.
I continue to make wishes,
Till morning light breaks through,
I turn to your jade eyes opening,
But I expected you to see through me.
But so

~Her~
By: B.C. Luck
She's like a beautiful angel,
With hair of silk and eyes of jade.
A beauty unlike no damsel,
Resembling a misplaced mermaid.
For its her, one who holds my heart,
The one I can't survive without.
And with a certain class, or art,
Grabs me, and leaves me just to shout.
Like a heartbeat, I hear her name,
It's siren song, takes me away,
And lights my feelings with its flame.
Making it hard to breakaway.
But why would someone leave this bliss?
To just be able to hold her,
And grace her soft lips with a kiss.
That sweet dream I would much prefer.
She's my dirty little secret,
My one treasure, sacred and true,
Again, Not my art as my DA ID, but it certainly expresses me. I'm a big Black Cat Fan, I love milk, and I don't mind sharing with new friends.
I'm mostly a photographer and a writer, but I'm experimenting on new things.

So far, nothing special has happen... I've recently sent 4 of my poems into the Artistic Rhapsody at school, so hopefully they make it in. Few people are looking forward to seeing my work in it, but I'm hoping I get some good feed back.
On another note, Lieutenant Colonel, but now Brigadier General, Maes Hughes was killed in the newest episode of Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. It's a whole lot sooner then it the normal series but it seem just a big let down... Hughes was a comic relief in the show and will be greatly be missed. At least we still got Ed being called short to keep the comic relief going.
Anyways... Just wanted to update my
